Dr. Progen is the main antagonist of Cyber Shadow, and the father of the Master. He was known for being a brilliant scientist while Mekacity was still populous. Driven mad out of desperation to save his daughter, he will stop at nothing to achieve his goal, even if it means sacrificing civilians, and her clan members.

Backstory[]
Dr. Progen built a synthetic humanoid machine capable of self-sustained, autonomous function. They served as laborers, police and domestic servants, and helped Mekacity prosper. It became Shadow's clan's new purpose to secretly dispose of malfunctioning machines, and uphold the peace.
One day, his daughter suffered a freak accident that grievously injured her. Unable to save her with traditional medicine, he tried to transfer her essence to a vessel, causing an explosion that leveled the entirety of Mekacity. Regrettably, the experiment failed, as the vessel had no essence readings, though as Hagan observed, it showed signs of sentience. This, however, wasn't enough for Progen, so he pursued other methods to save her, turning to the clan's shrines.
(Text below will be changed.) Progen put his daughter in stasis against her wishes so he could develop technology to resuscitate her in the meantime. Sometime shortly after this, he released many of his robots to kill the members of his daughter's clan. The ninja known as Apparitor, blinded by his contempt for Shadow, betrayed his clan to Progen in a misguided effort to make his Master "come around".
By the time that a now-mechanized Shadow showed up to free his master, Dr. Progen had mechanized himself and built a machine called the Progenitor. This horrifying machine's purpose was to absorb the Ethos and powers of the three Elementals, the strongest ninjas of the clan. By this point, the Apparitor, who was still serving Dr. Progen, had also been partially or fully mechanized by the mad scientist.
